The Division for Social Policy and Development (DSPD) of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) is pleased to confirm our attendance to a special briefing for NGOs on the work of the 54th Session of the Commission for Social Development (CSocD54). The briefing will provide an overview on the preparations for the CSocD54 taking place from 3 to 12 February 2016. The priority theme is “Rethinking and strengthening social development in the contemporary world”. The briefing will also highlight how NGOs can contribute and participate in the 54th session including online registration, procedures for written and oral statements, interactive panel discussions and side events.
